What could be better than to go poke through someone else’s stuff, hoping to discover cheap treasure? Well, here’s your chance if you’re a cyclist: The Bike Swap at Spokefest on September 7.
Come paw through bargains galore on cycling gear, components and accessories, 9:30am to 1pm Downtown at the Post Street Bridge—that is, if you’re not off riding the 21-mile (or one-mile) SpokeFest routes. Admission is free, so—as with all those yard sales in your neighborhood--come early for the best selection.
Oh, got stuff to sell? A limited amount of table space is available to individuals, cycling clubs and bike groups that want to participate in the Bike Swap. A half table space is $15 and full table is $25. The swap meet is organized by the Bicycle Alliance of Washington, a statewide organization that is helping this event, Bike to Work Spokane, and other cycling efforts around Spokane in partnership with our local Bicycle Advisory Board. To secure a spot for your club or yourself, contact Louise McGrody at 206.224.9252 ext. 303 or via email at [email protected].
