WEST FIRST - Just when you think West First has become nothing more than a collection of condos, litigation and Blu-Ray DVDs in walks a new boutique for the ladies. Opening extremely soon, like July 5th, Tangerine is dubbed the Ultimate Closet for Women and occupies the ground floor storefront of the old Oddfellows Hall (a.k.a. the Centerstage Building) at 1019 West First.
A peak inside reveals a whirlwind of activity amidst mirrored mosaics, bright orange
tangerine walls, and ample changing rooms. But by opening day expect to find clothing and accessories from regional artists
featuring hand made jewelry and artistic wear. Girls rule!

Any clue as to what demographic of women's wear the boutique hopes to capture? There is an enormous difference between "ladies" and "girls" and "moms" and "young women" etc.

I agree! You should check out COCO boutique in the Spokane valley mall (upstairs near macys) they always have something for everyone :)

Well, I hear the woman opening the boutique is Patricia Sampson. So, judging by her style I would guess that the clothes will be hip, fresh and fun.

Great lines, great fabrics, sophisticated style with a few surprise elements is what you will find. This is a place where you will want to linger a while and enjoy the space. Weather you are 18 or 68 you can either funk it up, dress it up...it's all up to you. Trunk shows starting August First Friday featuring a different artist of clothing or jewelry each time will compliment the Davenports Arts District and The Fox. Support the Arts!
