The release of new renderings of the Wall Street condominiums was a nice midweek bonus. Looking them over, we couldn't help but notice what appears to be some planned work to improve the injury imposed by the parking structure on the back-side of the Met Mortgage building.

We know you're thrilled. We also know there have been time when you've looked at one of our pics and thought, ugh, I could've done way better than that. We'll now is your chance. Ahhhh...Peaceful Valley. A neighborhood that is near and dear to our hearts. It's quirky and is gentrifying nicely.
Skip your high-school reunion and relive the 80s in this prime riverside estate. The prominent garage (which appears to consume over 2/3s of the home's front) means parking is a breeze. The high-priority on craftsmanship and saavy interior design is evident once you walk inside, where beige-on-white is the rule and not the exception.
This baby hit the market at $950,000 (gasp!). A two week MLS hiatus, a spanky new fence, and a $185,000 lopped-off the price equals one motivated seller. $765,000 is the new sweet-spot. Is it the impending end of days, or just woefully overpriced? You be the judge. Full tour here.

The sustainability theme continues dear readers...
This Thursday set your afternoon aside. Better Bricks and the Cascadia Region Green Building Council team up to delve into the topic of sustainable development with Idaho developer Gary Christensen as the keynote speaker. Mr. Christensen is the developer behind the newly completed Banner Bank Building in Boise (how's that for alliteration?) which will soon receive a 'platinum' Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. One of only 19 in THE WORLD. His presentation will cover the details of how this project went from "not likely" to being one of the greenest commercial office buildings in the country.

Going green and getting sustainable just got a little bit easier with the recent relocation of the Eco-Depot. We attended their open house on Friday at their new location on the southwest corner of Sprague and Perry (map). Loads of people enjoyed complimentary appetizers and drinks while browsing through the product offerings.
