From the MetroSpokane Inbox a reader gives the heads up regarding a massive data gathering event on pedestrian activity in the Spokane Region.
"The Spokane Regional Health District, Spokane Regional Transportation Council, the City of Spokane and the Regional Pedestrian Plan Committee are developing a Spokane Regional Pedestrian Plan, and they have a survey that they want people to take so they can build the plan better accordingly."
"The survey ends on June 23rd, It'd be great to get a bunch of people to take this so we can get them proper information about where we are walking."
And before you get all witty and say something like, "But I skateboard everywhere," please note that the term pedestrian happens to include people in wheelchairs, using rollerblades, and SKATEBOARDERS. More proof that skateboarding is not a crime.

Thanks for posting this Metro Spokane! We try to share the love and return the favor with our blog as often as we can. The more input, the better as far as walking habits, so we want to hear from everyone whether they walk to work and to run errands, or just to the curb to get the mail. And please forward it on to your friends!
