Sneak Peek: D&B Trading Company Interior
Following up on Friday's post, Quizno's is certainly down for the count as figured. A quick glance inside by a MetroSpokane operative spotted multiple mirrors, soothing red walls and loads of oak barrels strewn about. Just what the 'and more' in the 'wine tasting and more' tag line refers to, we're not sure, but at the rate they're moving on the interior, a day-after-Thanksgiving opening has to be the plan.
Dare we say a new sophisticated venue in downtown? Perhaps we finally don't have to drive to Walla Walla for an interesting wine experience. I think we've tolerated more than our share of advetising signs for fast food, and won't miss this one either!Looking forward to sipping.

I was wondering if anyone knows how many wine tasting rooms there are in downtown Spokane? If there are enough, I think a great idea would be if they had some sort of trolley that would travel around downtown letting people off at the various wine tasting rooms downtown. I think all of them that wanted to participate could come together and finance it. It could operate Wed.-Fri. at night and be operational all day Saturday. It could make the rounds every 15-20 minutes or something like that. I think that would really make for a great evening or day of wine tasting!

Cool! I can't wait!
Maybe this will be Spokane's version of Portland's Pi-rem wine lounge & gallery?

Probably won't be quite as arty or underground, but I'm still very enthusiastic about it none-the-less! We already have Caterina for wine + music . . .
