Little Yellow Postcards: Let the bottom-feeding begin...

Fast on the heels of last week's market dump correction, little yellow 3x5 postcards began showing up in the mailboxes of some Spokane residents in the 99201.  Now this could either be just the best freakin' timing ever, or a shrewd maneuver by the folks over at Northwest HomeBuyers.  We tend to think it's the prior.

One thing is for certain, nothing warms the hearts of those who are over-extended on their finances, like a bright yellow postcard offering to buy their home quickly and easily at a fair price.  But that's not all, Northwest HomeBuyers also offers a 24-hour FREE RECORDED MESSAGE to hear details on this miracle of all miracles.  Yes, a FREE RECORDED MESSAGE!  What is this strange new technology? 

Clearly sales have 'softened' a touch here in Spokane, but it's not that bad.  Hell, we didn't even make the top 100 metros on the Foreclosure Rates list last week.  So what do you think?  A little premature for blanket solicitation by postcard?  Tacky?
